OF THANKS AND ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
Acknowledgments
that are arriving into Merhamet, mostly come from those who wish to point out
that the aid had come to its final destination, and to express their gratitude
for the received support in solving some of their problems. It is difficult
to pick out some of those acknowledgments without, perhaps, doing injustice
to some people.
Of all the acknowledgments we would like to single out two that have been awarded
to Merhamet of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and two that have been awarded to Merhamet
of Sweden:
1. GOLDEN LILY DECORATION WITH A GOLD WREATH for
special merits and
contribution in providing assistance essential to the survival of the population
of Bosnia and Herzegovina, awarded by the Presidency of the Republic of Bosnia
and Herzegovina.
2. 5th INTERNATIONAL AWARD FOR PEACE - POPE IVAN XXIII - awarded by the Vatican to Merhamet in special recognition for assistance and relief offered to the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina during the War.
3. PLAQUE - awarded by the families of Sehids and fallen soldiers of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Merhamet of Sweden. This award is especially dear to us for it has been awarded to four governments.
4. SILVER
PLAQUE - awarded to Merhamet of Sweden by Merhamet of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
